Our firm was charged with the design of this first of its kind LEED platinum school. Constructed in 2009 this 50,000 square foot elementary school is a two storey steel structure. Key structural aspects of this building included design of the roof for storm water retention, consideration of piping of a geo-grid, the introduction of a wind turbine on the roof and the installation of several panels along the south face of the school.
